The government of Montenegro extended the program until December 2022, with an additional cost of 100,000 EUR. More than two years since it was first announced, Montenegro’s Citizenship by Investment Program is officially open! This program is limited to only 2,000 applicants over a three-year period. The processing time takes around 6 months.

CITIZENSHIP PROGRAM MONTENEGRO COSTS

The price for Montenegrin Citizenship by Investment includes:

• 200,000 EUR Donation to Government Funds
• 15,000 EUR Government Application Fee for the main applicant, with an additional:
  • 10,000 EUR for each dependent (up to 4 dependents)
  • 50,000 EUR for each dependent after the fourth

Government Due Diligence Fees:

• Main applicant: €7,000
• Dependent (up to 4): €10,000
• Dependent (after the fourth): €1,500

Real Estate Investment Options:

• 250,000 EUR investment in approved real estate in an undeveloped area (north of the country)
• 450,000 EUR investment in approved real estate in a developed region (south of the country)

Advisor & Lawyer Fees:

• 75,000 EUR (Notary Fee is separate)

The full investment and donation must be deposited in an escrow account by the Government with the application. This contribution is post-approval and will be refunded to the applicant if the Government declines the application.

The Government Processing Fee and due diligence fees must be paid upfront and are non-refundable. Applications can be submitted through our partners and lawyers from GCI Unit Montenegro.
